Gold Thread Video Productions, launched as a one-man operation in 1997, has closed its doors. You may still play the videos on my Samples page. The two fictional commercials, "Fresh & Breezy" and "Wanagao Island" were eleventh-hour attempts to demonstrate that I could adopt a special-effects and graphics-intensive style for 30- and 60-second commercials. To see the kind of work I would really prefer to do, however, I suggest watching the Celtic Festival video (toward the bottom of the Samples page). It represents what I feel is a successful effort to work artistically with the intangible element of "energy" or "vibes" which inspired the company name, and which so few potential clients in the commercial world seemed to appreciate.
