Gold Thread Video Productions, based in Myrtle Beach, SC. Gold Thread Video distributes the documentary "In Another Life," which aired on KBDI Denver in 2003. It is sold to universities in the U.S. and Canada through Films Media Group, and to the rest of the world, directly.
I am available for video production and editing projects, as for example "New York Rust," a music video by folk/rock musician "Keight," which you can view on the Samples page. I also offer duplication, archiving and restoration of audio and video from old formats such as VHS, Hi-8, reel-to-reel and cassette tapes.
Gold Thread Video produced everything you see on the Samples page, mostly on low budgets and often with a crew of one or at most two as I was attempting to "bootstrap" the company. Cutting corners for poor clients, I can still do work that's about 90% of what it should be, but with normal funding I can do even better. "New York Rust," for example, had a total budget of about $160, $100 of which went to purchasing a green screen, and $8 of which went to purchasing stock footage. I had no crew and no travel budget. Imagine what I could do if I had those things?
